Controlled Casual Conference (CCC) Appointments
GMDC was the pioneer of the pre-scheduled, face-to-face, table-top appointment model, which we call Controlled Casual Conferences (CCCs). Although CCCs have formed the cornerstone of GMDC's marketing events since the early 1970's, being the originator of the format has afforded us the opportunity to apply several decades worth of experience to the optimization of the model to flexibly meet the particular demands of today's business dynamic. In the CCC format, wholesaler and retailer members are invited to host one or more tables on the appointment floor, where supplier and service company members transition from table to table at pre-designated times coordinated by their CCC schedules. What truly differentiates the CCC format within today's conference marketplace is the relative time-efficiency of the appointments, the overall breadth of trade partner exposure that each participant will experience, and the high level of decision-makers that will be sitting across from them at each CCC table.
Senior Executive Conference (SEC) Appointments
The Senior Executive Conference (SEC) appointment format complements the CCC segment of our conferences by providing a venue in which a more in-depth, strategically directed conversation can take place. Like CCCs, the SEC appointments are pre-scheduled, but they are longer in duration and they take place in private suites hosted by the supplier and service company members. Participation in SECs is limited, and they are currently offered only at GMDC's HBW Marketing Conferences held annually in the fall.
